Meghívó a Nopcsa Emléknapra

Az SZTFH Földtani Szolgálata tisztelettel meghívja Önt a báró Nopcsa Ferenc, a hazai dinoszaurusz-kutatás megalapítója tiszteletére rendezett előadónapra.
A Földtani Szolgálat idén ünnepli Nopcsa Ferenc igazgatói kinevezésének 100. évfordulóját. Ennek alkalmából 2025. október 2-án előadónapot tartunk Budapesten.
Báró Nopcsa Ferenc volt az első magyarországi dinoszaurusz-leletek tudományos leírója. Az angol nyelven elhangzó, 25 perces előadások Nopcsa életének és szakmai pályafutásának legfontosabb pillanatait ölelik fel, kalandos életútjától az első dinoszauruszcsontok felfedezésén át a Földtani Intézet igazgatói posztjáig.

Invitation to the Nopcsa Memorial Day

The Geological Survey of the Supervisory Authority for Regulatory Affairs kindly invites you to a lecture day held in honor of Baron Ferenc Nopcsa, the founder of dinosaur research in Hungary.
The Geological Survey of Hungary is celebrating the 100th anniversary of Ferenc Nopcsa’s appointment as director of the Geological Institute this year. To celebrate this, we will hold a lecture day in Budapest on the 2nd of October, 2025.
Baron Ferenc Nopcsa was the scientific describer of the first dinosaur finds in Hungary. The 25-minute lectures, delivered in English by the most eminent experts on the subject, cover the most important moments of Nopcsa's life and professional career, from his adventurous life path through the discovery of the first dinosaur bones to his position as director of the Geological Institute.
